CAMP ODAYIN

Camp Odayin provides fun, safe and supportive camp experiences and community building opportunities for young people with heart disease and their families. Our mission is based on a holistic approach to healing hearts, a desire to nurture and develop independence, confidence, and acceptance throughout our camper’s lives, the importance of a sense of community among our heart family, and an emphasis on having fun and celebrating life!

Participants pay just $25 to attend Residential Camp, Winter Camp, Family Camp, or the Moms Retreat.

Residential Camp allows campers in grades 1-11 to enjoy swimming, boating, arts and crafts, volleyball, horseback riding, nature, basketball, and music in a safe, medically-supervised environment during a five-day experience. Camp Odayin hosts several weeks of Residential Camp in two locations, one in northern MN and one located near Milwaukee/Chicago.

Family Camp is an opportunity for families with a child with heart disease age birth to 12th grade to come together for fun, education, support and camaraderie. There are two Friday to Sunday sessions hosted near the Twin Cities and near Milwaukee/Chicago.

Winter Camp offers Residential Camp or Day Camp campers who attended the previous summer the chance to reconnect and experience snowshoeing, broomball, and sledding over a three-day weekend.

The Moms Retreat is a time for moms of young people with heart disease to connect for support, education and empowerment. The Saturday to Sunday retreat near St. Paul, MN includes meals, lodging, optional spa and yoga activities, and fabulous guest speakers.
