Wow, just read your story .... so powerful and fitting!! The timing could not have been better for me and Jessi (HLHS) personally. We were just at USC yesterday for yet another ultrasound on Jessi's liver as she was recently diagnosed with cardiac cirrhosis and may very well be facing exactly what you had written about here. I can't tell you how touched I was while reading it... because the timing was perfect!! THANK YOU TO BECCA, and know that our hearts are with you every step of the way! You covered it beautifully.

Thank you for your comment, Brenda. Becca had a powerful way with words. Chris has been most generous in sharing some of her daughter's work with us. Becca sent me two pieces before she passed away but this one was shared with me via Becca's mom, Chris. It's a powerful piece and seemed like the perfect piece to share on Good Friday.
